Wow! This week has been quite productive. I've been able to cross off quite a few things on my "to-do" list! I'm so happy!
Seth has been gone camping in Colorado with the Highway kids and other leaders since Saturday. They probably won't be home until this coming Saturday. Yes, one whole week. One whole week with just me and the girls. One whole week that included "alone time" after 8 pm. One whole week that included a few hours of peace and quiet in the house for an afternoon (even the dog wasn't home!). One whole week of just "girl time." One whole week of not working (nevermind that I went in to the office for 2 hours on Tuesday). All that has been a lot of fun. We've colored, played with play dough, went shopping, ate ice cream, watched movies on Netflix, played outside, read books.
This week has also meant, one whole week of doing the laundry and dishes, taking care of the girls, feeding the girls, cleaning up after the girls, figuring out when is the best time to walk the dog without leaving the girls alone, not freaking out when there are spiders on the walls, vacuuming coffee grounds from the carpet, take the dog to get groomed, protecting the dog from little hands that like to check his teeth and pull his tail, and more! Overall it's been a good and fairly normal week but I'm definitely ready for Seth to be home. The girls miss him. I miss him.
