Fresh Start

I've tried to start this blog so many times but I just keep restarting it. So this time, I'm not going to restart. I'm just going to keep going.

I've got a few changes I want to make....weight changes, organizational changes, life changes. I guess my hard thing right now is where to start or how are these changes going to affect my life. As much as I desire change, I don't like change. Never have. I suppose I need to start with better time management for myself. Working from home, taking care of the kids, taking care of the house is a whole lot. I need to make some changes. Changes that don't bring anxiety. Changes that affect me and my family for good. Hopefully, blogging more about it will keep me more accountable.

Wow! That's all I can say. I'm not going to even begin to try to catch up on what's been happening since I last blogged. Do you hear me? NO way! Okay...so highlights... :)

Thanksgiving was great!

Christmas was great!

New Years was great!

My little A turned one 3 weeks ago! What a crazy but fun time! Seth's family from CT came out to hang out with us and celebrate with A.

Little Miss K is doing well too! She turns 3 next week! Yikes! My "baby girl" is 3! I can't call her my baby because she is a girl not a baby, but she told me that I could call her "baby girl." I love her! :)

Okay, so that's cleared up...

So this year is definitely not turning out how I imagined it. Mostly it's because we are so incredibly busy. But also, the girlies keep getting sick. I'm ready for the sickness to stop. Hopefully with the nicer weather coming the germs will go away. So far between the 2 of them they've had the flu, strep, ear infection, roseola, viral rash, and other random illnesses. I know that I've had enough so they must really have had enough. Here's to a healthy rest of the year!

Something that's really been on my mind and heart lately is how disorganized our home is. Moreso, how disorganized I am. So, my goal for this weekend is to create a daily tasks list for the week and starting Monday....work my way to being organized. I guess if I were to make a "New Year's Resolution," it would be get organized. We shall see....
